Not getting enough sleep

If you don’t get enough sleep there is a big chance that you’ll store more body fat. Lack of sleep helps in increasing the level of ghrelin, the hormone that tells the brain when we are hungry. If you want to lose weight you need to get at least 7-9 hours of sleep every day. Avoid eating heavy meals before going to bed. Avoid using your cell phone or computer before bed and if possible sleep in complete darkness.

You eat too much dairy

Dairy products contain a specific type of protein that could lead to insulin spikes. You should cut back on high protein products if you think dairy makes your insulin level spike. Butter and cream are fine because they are low in protein. However, cheese and yogurt are high protein dairy products.
